48th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry
Meetings of the American Society for Neurochemistry (ASN) include plenary lectures, symposia, colloquia and workshops over the course of four days. The scientific program of these meetings focuses on the society’s four major themes:
- Building the Nervous System
- Glial Cell Biology
- Molecular and Cell Biology of the Nervous System
- Neurodegeneration and Disease
Young investigator participation is particularly encouraged, as engagement with trainees is an important component at ASN meetings. This includes daily poster sessions, short oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts, trainee lunches with plenary speakers, and numerous travel awards.
